My daughter first told me that Pho Avina was one of her Vietnamese friend's favorite places to get Pho.
I would have gotten a bowl except it was mid-day. So, we settled on fried vegetable eggs rolls and a mango boba tea. They were both fantastic. This is the first place in Phoenix that served a whole large leaf of lettuce for me to wrap my egg roll and dipping sauce. This is the way I was taught to eat Vietnamese egg rolls. The rice paper skin was crisp. The filling was flavorful. I did not miss the meat.
Our bubble tea was also very good. The pearls were perfectly prepared with enough chew and still soft. The blended drink had enough sweet and had good flavor. They had a plastic covering just like we enjoy them in Singapore.
Next time, I will definitely have the Pho!
