They cut me. Yep. I was having a pedicure, reading my magazine, and *yelped* in pain. Looked down, my big toe was bleeding. The tech said I had an ingrown toenail, so she dug under it. Ummm...did NOT have an ingrown toenail, but yeah, if you dig under someone's nail and cut it below the skin line, it will bleed. I ended up leaving at this point, of course, to run home to some rubbing alcohol and Neosporin. Toe throbbing, bleeding. She had already cut my other toe nails on that foot...all ridiculously short with sharp edges and below the skin line. Total bigly mess. Separately, I was not offered a bottle of water. Pretty routine these days, but maybe they cut back on services. Also, their "basic" pedicure is $30. Seriously??? The other salons in the area are $22 - $25. This price is outrageous for the market. And...the basic included "herbal mineralized water bath". Um...unless the city of Phoenix is now herbalizing and mineralizing the public water supply, this stuff was pure tap. There was nothing added. Bottom line...avoid.
