They provide a wonderful selection of Prom dresses for the teens. In fact, when my daughter and I went, the place was jam packed full of teens and their mom's. My daughter finally narrowed her choices down to 3 gorgeous dresses. Needless to say we spent quite a while at the shop. Purchased a dress (needed sewing on some of the beads and to be pressed) also a beautiful pair of heels that matched perfectly with the dress. Here's where the problem comes in. Was told that we had to wait a few weeks for the dress to be ready for pick up. They wanted FULL payment even though we would not have the dress or the shoes. The shoes had to be ordered in her size. I would NOT pay full price but offered to pay 1/2 now and the rest when the shoes came in and when the dress was ready. They agreed. Weeks went by, I would call to follow up and their phone would continue to ring, no answer and no option to leave a message Finally, when the shoes were in, they called me and left a v/m message. I went to pick up the shoes. I stood in their entryway, near the front check out/cashier area forever. Rang the bell, etc. No one came over. I also walked to the back, where 1 person was talking to maybe a customer? I informed them that all I wanted to do was pick up shoes and pay and leave. I waited and waited. After about 15 minutes or so, after I went to the back again (I was given a nasty look), someone got the shoes, I checked out and left. The Prom dress STILL was NOT ready.......mind you it just needed some minor sewing and to be pressed. A week or so later, when they called to tell me the dress was ready, I quickly dropped everything to go get it. Thank GOD I had them open the plastic bag so that I could inspect the dress. Well.....the dress was obviously NEVER pressed! I called attention to the young lady. She said, "Oh it looks like it was, they said that it was". OMG, it was so obvious, that the dress was NEVER pressed, there were huge long wrinkles throughout the dress! She finally gave in to my concern and said "Oh, OK, I will ask them to press it and call you when it is ready." Another week or so went by. Finally, when I got the call, off I went. This time the dress looked perfect. It WAS noticeably pressed. The Prom dress selection is awesome. The customer service is HORRIBLE! If another business opens up in the area that offers an awesome selection of Prom dresses and great customer service? They would be right out of business!
