DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. I honestly think it is a scam. They rarely approve a repair and it is virtually impossible to get a hold of them over the phone.
My AC unit went out, got a technician out here through the American Home Shield and the technician said the compressor failed due to normal ware and tare.
American Home Shield denied the repair and the AC technician called them back and stayed on the phone for an hour with their supervisor explaining that it was normal ware and tare. I have tried to get through to the authorization department for the past 2.5 hours to check the status of my work order. I finally did get through to a person and she put me on hold and then the line got "disconnected." I honestly think they want to try to get out of paying for this repair because this company is a bunch of crooks.
