I had more or less settled on this company to do a small move (1 BR to 1 BR locally)--until they could not give me any guarantees that they wouldn't arrive to start the job 4-5 hours after the time we agreed. It is outrageous and unacceptable to me that a business can't even give guarantees within their own 2 hour operating window. My time--the time of your customers--is not less valuable than the time of your movers. You would not accept me arriving to my house ready to move 4 hours after the time that I scheduled the move--and I AM PAYING YOU. When you're the party receiving funds for services, you have an obligation to be at least reasonably timely. I found a moving company that quoted me a lower price AND who could guarantee a start time within an hour of the time scheduled. With competition like this, why on earth would anyone waste their time (and money!) on this company?
