NOT FOR BRAIN SCANS - TOO LOW QUALITY The traditional MRI machines are very painful for me to lay down in because of fibromyalgia points on the back of my head. So, I was happy when I found this sitting MRI facility. However, the reason I'm only giving 1 star is because the MRI machine is too old and outdated to do a scan on the pituitary (brain). I found this out when I got a second opinion by a well known neurologist in Phoenix that specializes in pituitary disorders. I get a yearly MRI to check the status of the tumor. When my report came back that they didn't see anything, I knew something was wrong. I think what they should have wrote was that they couldn't see the pituitary. Not that they couldn't see anything wrong. This could be dangerous. I wonder how many people have gone in for a brain MRI and got a false negative report? Class action lawsuit? Also, I knew something was wrong when I got the contrast shot. I didn't get the typical reactions in my body that I always get with the contrast chemical. There was nothing at all. I wonder what he used? Was it saline? WHAT IN THE WORLD DID I JUST GET SHOT UP WITH? I DON'T TRUST THIS PLACE. The tech that did the MRI was nice, professional, caring, and he had good communication skills. The rest of the staff, although not very professional, was nice enough. But, did have some problems accessing my mri / records.
