Been at a meridian unit for only 2 weeks and have had the apartment flooded 3 times. Not only did they refuse to give me a courtesy cleaning but they accused me of lying about the flooding and are CHARGING ME for plumbing fees! Apparently having running water streaming out of the pipes in the wall and running through the entire entryway of the unit isn't a "flood". I had to squeegee the water out of the apartment myself and clean the floors each time it happened. At one point during one of my phone conversations with Michele I actually had to say "can I speak?" TEN TIMES. When I complained about the poor customer service (accusing me of lying, talking over me on the phone and through text messages, refusing to show any sympathy let alone even listen to what I had to say) and that I wouldn't have rented from them had I known they speak to customers like this, Michele responds to me with "Lets do this. You move. I am giving you 30 days notice today. You are welcome to find another rental. Thank you." I'm not sure if this is how the home shop operates or just Michele but this is just absurd. Michele is not just unprofessional but is truly a miserably evil, disgustingly vile human being.
