Called about 11am to inquire about a iPhone7+ screen repair. Apple said water markers were set off but they wouldn't tell me if there was any real damage and it was $350 to fix. Took it to Mobile Matrix for a repair. On the phone Zack said it could be 45-60 minutes if there was any water damage because they're a bit extra careful with these. 30 minutes later i'm out the door. Screen is repaired. He said while the water markers were set off he could see no current issues. Motherboard, screws, etc... all had no corrosion and I should be fine. I am reasonable customer. I am not holding him to this because there are simply too many variables but I appreciate the honest feedback from a business guy. Cracked phone is not driving me crazy any more and I am thrilled with the service at Mobile matrix repair.
