The Aquarium the Silverton Hotel is a super cool attraction in Las Vegas that is free. It was fun and informative to chat with the diver feeding the sting rays (4:30 pm show). We took a nice walk through the amazing Pro Bass store next to the aquarium. We got a chocolate malt at Johnny Rockets, then returned for the 5 pm Mermaid show. They had 2 beautiful mermaids with fabulous costumes swim around the tank, do twists and turns, wave and blow kisses to the adoring crowd. It was beautiful to see the magic between these mermaids and their young fans. I was quite taken myself.
The Silverton Casino is a little off the beaten path from the Strip, but it was worth the trip to see these shows. Did I mention that it is FREE?
