U-Swirl is a fantastic, user-friendly concept, perfectly manifested at the Decatur Blvd. shop, which we discovered Saturday. We enjoyed it so much that we took our father there that evening after dinner. He liked it a lot, and he said he would be going back there, as well. Since he is a diabetic, Dad had the butter-pecan and vanilla sugar-free versions, which are deceptively delicious--I can't distinguish them from the sugared varieties of frozen yoghurt. There seemed to be about 20 flavours, which you pull yourself and can mix at will--then your dish or cone is weighed to determine its price. There are some bottles of syrups, and sprinkles that customers can apply themselves before the final tally is done. I particularly liked the praline walnut and finely-chopped peanut choices. The yoghurt shop has plenty of seating and floor-space; speaking of space, it put me in mind of the Jetsons with its wild design. I really appreciate U-Swirl at N. Decatur in North Las Vegas.
