Ohmygod... chicken beer bratwurst.
Even during on a Saturday afternoon on Memorial Day weekend it was worth a trip over to Kaufmann Poultry for our cookout the next day. And as always, the folks were friendly and super-helpful!
Besides that damn credit card minimum, I see not one negative about this place. You'd think it wouldn't be hard to rack up a hefty price tag with all their awesome poultry products, but everything is so cheap it's crazy! We got 3lb of chicken tenders to marinate for kabobs and 4 beer brats, which just got us over the $10 min.
Let me just say the brats alone were worth $10 in taste alone and I'm definitely coming back for the burgers and breakfast sausages! The tenders were perfectly trimmed, mild and... well, tender! I typically pound out chicken a little but with these it wasn't needed.
Kaufmann, you have my poultry business for life!
