The place has changed hands several times. I've read the reviews from other people about the "underpaid rent" hustle they were doing. The current management team tried that with me too. I'm not the typical trash that the rent to so I had my lease agreement and every single rent check. They didn't get very far. I actually overpaid and still haven't seen a refund because I overpaid the "other" company. I'm sorry but my checks say Avalon Hills, then and now.
My apartment has been burglarized. At 4am on Christmas morning I had a tweeker prostitute banging on my door because two other angry tweekers were chasing her. Yes, I understand that management companies can't control neighborhood crime. The funny thing is, the neighborhood is actually quite nice. This management team rents to criminals. Druggies are piled into apartments and little children running in the street in the middle of the night.
I grew up in a rough area as a kid. I'd rather go back to that. This place is bad. Management is apathetic. Read any reply they've made to a review online, they shift blame.
