I have a pretty old cat who is diabetic and has bad skin. She doesn't groom herself well, so I like to keep her in a lion cut.
As someone newish to the area, I had to find a new mobile groomer. I called someone who had a lot of good reviews, but she had a full book, so she recommended that I use One White Whisker. I was a little hesitant because of the lack of reviews, but I decided to take a leap of faith, and it all turned out really well.
I was able to book an appointment fairly easily. They use an app that isn't WONDERFUL (which the groomer Patty admitted to me), but it works.
Patty arrived on time and spent a few minutes chatting with me. She even spent some time greeting my dog, who is very nervous around strangers. He liked her and wanted to play, so that was a win.
She offered to show me her grooming trailer, which looked nice and clean. She then took my cat, and I headed back upstairs.
Aside from a minor power issue, things went well. Ellen was done in about two and a half hours. When she was done, Patty came back in and showed me areas to watch for on Ellen (just little scratches from her bitchy sister). She had taken lots of pictures of her, which I haven't had a groomer do before. Ellen looked super cut with her lion cut.
Pricing was standard for a mobile groom. Mobile grooms are always in the low three digits these days. I did get a nice new client discount.
I will definitely use Patty in the future!
