Went in to get shellac change, the lady said its 35$ for shellac mani. The first time i went, shellac was 25 but with a different lady. I wanted just shellac color change but she was like your cuticle is so dry etc.. yeah..ive gotten shellac before and they do cut the dry skin and cuticle around before painting..felt like a rip off adding 10$.
So she was cutting my cuticles and she snipped me a bit and i started bleeding a bit. Not even sorry just kept working! She applied alcohol with the ripped piece of tissue and continued. I noticed she touched the bottle of alcohol on the open wound. Gross..not sanitary. During filing my nails, she dropped the nail file on the floor and she picked it up and continued using it. There was a piece of fuzz on it she just removed. She should of gotten a new one. I had to tell her to file a bit more because the edges weren't even. Some were quite sharp at the edge still. Felt like she was rushing because someone was waiting. She applied color on and i noticed she didn't paint the edges! Does not look professional . The sides of my nails were left plain. I had to ask her to paint it. It was a basic one color gel polish. Overall, not happy with my nails. Didnt shape it nicely, it was a simple filling to make it rectangle shape, but some edges were slanted and sharp..awful. will not go back for the price, you can easily find other salons to do a better job.
Note: pay in cash, if you pay card the tax is added so instead of 35$ like she said its 40$.
