Although a bit of a drive from us in Henderson, this ice rink was perfect for a girl's bday celebration with her sisters and a friend. There's something really wholesome about ice rinks (I wish I could say the same for rollerskate game rinks, although sadly all that I've been to the last 20+ years seem to be full of cranksters), they attract families and teens looking to practice their skating skills, even if fair at best.
At $10 a person including rentals, my 4 girls ( daughters and friends) went out for the 2 hour public skate. My husband and I parked it inside in the warmer snack area, ordering a decent, slightly dry hot pretzel.
They allow parties which may be an option for next year, and for any day where my daughters might need something to do.
