Not sure why the other reviewer had such a bad experience. Its a retail store, so you might as well expect the pricing, but the service, well, the first day I was bringing my dog home, she didn't have a collar, so even before taking her home I stopped by at Petco. I really didn't expect her to bolt like she did (not right away, she wandered around for 5 minutes til she found a place to pee).. When I couldn't get her back the store personnel came out practically immediately and spent 20 minutes helping me to get her back, teaching me a few tricks.. I have never found the service to be poor otherwise, people at the store are very helpful, and Peter, the dog trainer, has been great in helping me learn to train Dori. Too bad he's moving out of town!
