After quite a few visits I'm glad to see The Tenant has come into their own. Online assets work, prices are clearly displayed, tea is piping hot (and delicious) and the staff are pretty friendly on the right day. There's only been one or two pop ups here so far so I think half the shop being empty 90% of the time is wasteful when there's nothing. Unfortunately the WiFi password still isn't displayed anywhere. I like that they care about the community and let people post business cards or posters by the cream and sugar. Like I said, staff are friendly most of the time. However every single time I've been here each staff member has always had a friend or something sitting at the end of the coffee bar and chatting to them the whole time. I'm a business owner in the area so I'd like to get to know the owners or learn about the place but haven't had much of a chance because even when my coffee is being made they're frequently chatting away. Seems a bit impersonal and doesn't create a friendly way to come ask for a refill.
