I usually stay on the strip, but wanted to try being away from all the insanity. I had heard that the Orleans was decent. Overall, it was a good hotel to stay at for a very reasonable price.
Pros: Good location (close to strip and various restaurants), Clean/spacious/updated room, great pool area that wasn't overly crowded, decent workout room, various restaurants, very friendly staff throughout the hotel.
Cons: Parking isn't great, sometimes there are annoying little kids at pool (Vegas for toddlers?! Come on!), and the casino area has an old & smoky smell to it.
