I wished I could rate this market with five-stars because then it would mean that I could go here every weekend to get my grocery shopping done. But the reality is that I hardly ever go here and even if I do, I find myself walking out with a small bag of locally grown mini-carrots (that is, if I'm lucky as the situation gets worse during winter). What puzzles me the most every time I visit the market is, why is there so little produce from the local/Canadian vendors? Okay, I'll let the avocados and some of the tropical fruits off the hook but what about the rest? To make things worse, everything is over-priced here. Paying almost $5 for a small bag of carrots and $4.50 for a loaf of bread makes me wonder if it is really worth it. You can find plenty of organic products from your community organic stores and sometimes even the same fruits and veggies from the big name stores for cheaper... sigh
