Located in the lobby of the Fairmont Hotel, the bar area is brightly lit and the acoustics are poor. A bad combination for a jazz bar. The band is positioned at the base of the raised bar, facing away from the bar (another less than optimal facet).
The music was decent and the service was average. I ordered a Moscow Mule, which was presented in a tall glass, not a copper mug! I'm sorry, but it is not a Moscow Mule if it is not served in a copper mug.
Overall, it was a disappointment. Especially considering the bar is located in a Fairmont Hotel.
