To begin, the service was slow for a half empty restaurant. The waitress got the orders mixed up on the check and took 20 additional minutes to fix the mistake. All together we were there for 2 hours with only 4 people.
The food, which took more than 30 minutes to arrive at the table after ordering was anything but special. The burger I ordered wasn't seasoned and was dry. The chili was minimal and the slaw had a store bought taste. The price of the burger was too much for the poor quality. If you want good food and great service, I suggest finding another restaurant. I will not be returning to Hickory Tavern.
