Bait and switch. I booked a $35 blow dry which by LA standards is cheap. I'm fine paying $45 or $55 for a decent salon. Was told it would be "a little more" for flat iron which is usually included as part of a "blow out"... fine, it's petty but I'm already here. After the service when I went to pay "a little more" turns in $21 more... 60% more... how is that "a little" ?? Stylist tells me she did a lot of work. This is just insulting to me. How was this any different from the weekly blow dries I get anywhere else? My stylist with 20+ years experience in LA charges $55. I'm fine paying that because she's upfront and doesn't rip me off. Oh and since we are being petty... how about the Stylist pays me $25 from my $100 hourly consulting rate for starting the blow dry 15 minutes late?
