My first time going here :) and let me tell you, the ambiance is so cool. Also, the people here are so NICE. I'm not talking about the just the workers, I'm also talking about the customers here as well. :) My friends and I came here at around 9pm because the Starbucks nearby told us they were closing. We had a big exam the next day and we still have a lot more to study. We used Yelp and found out about this place not being so far from the Starbucks we were just at. 5 mins only. and when we walked into Cafe Darak, all of the tables and seats were ALL taken and full! We had no place to study! I wasn't expecting it to be opened, because it was already 9pm and I'm sure tables would be full. Surprisingly, these two girls saw us and offered to give up their table so they could move to the smaller seating area that was right next to them. They didn't have any books or anything, they looked like they were just there to chat anyways. Right after the two girls offered us a swap, these other guys ALSO offered to give their table to us since they were already packing their things and leaving anyway. I tell you, I go to serenade and Starbucks and when it's full, people won't care or give up their table. HEY IM NOT EXPECTING ANYONE TO GIVE UP THEIR TABLE OR SEAT FOR ME. It's just the generosity that counts. I would've done the same thing too. I would come here again! I love how chill the place is, it's not too loud, and everyone is just doing their own thing.
