This place reminded me of what I imagine a zoo would be like in the 1950s. The amusement park rides right next to the animal enclosures is definitely something I've never seen in California. Despite the interesting hybrid of entertainment, the animals all looked healthy and well cared for. The vast majority of the staff were very knowledge and were able to answer questions on the spot. The reptile room was my favorite and they have a massive saltwater croc that I've only seen in documentaries. This place is worth every penny and I would recommend it to anyone who even has the slightest interest in animals.
