As a California native, Scottsdale amazes me. The cleanliness, the easy-to-navigate roads, the number of chic spa's and restaurants - everything is perfection. On my recent trip I took up a friends suggestion and work trip ritual - visiting the nearest Lush for a bathtime treat. Hey, you don't need to worry about cleaning the tub! Everything was filled to the brim with festive items. glitter GLITTER and MORE GLITTER! Nearly everything I touched had some form of sparkle. Not that I'm complaining but nearly everything in my purse to this day still has an iridescent sheen. Oh the looks I get when I hand people glitter coated cash. Lucky for me, there was no line and plenty of help. I was in and out in a jiffy. With a few bath bombs and a bubble bar in tow I was a happy camper for the weekend... well, a happy tourist in a nice hotel for the weekend.
