I've used this company a couple of time over the past couple of years and thought I liked them however, this most recent time left me aggravated. I can handle most plumbing issues myself but was out of town and needed help sooner than I could get there so I call Roto-Rooter. The receptionists that made the appointment was great to work with, the technician came out as scheduled. The technician called me and said the toilet needed to be replaced, it was broken, the basket drain in the sink was broken and needed to be replaced. I can do these things but I was out of town. I asked how much it would be for him to do it and he said "oh it will be expensive." I can't make this up... I told him I would do it myself and not to do anything. He seemed shocked that I could do it myself and started asking questions about why I called him if I can do that. Not in a rude way, he just seemed shocked. Long story short, I had one bolt on the toilet that needed to be replaced and then basket drain in the sink just needed a new gasket. I paid $20 total to fix myself. I realize doing it yourself is always cheaper, if you do it right, but I do think what I was quoted work unnecessarily.
