Just noticed that one of your officers was acquitted for the murder of an unarmed man. I watched the tape and watched him give contradicting orders to the man. I noticed how your officer escalated the encounter and yelled orders that made no sense. I can't even imagine that in police academy officers are trained to yell orders for someone in this type of encounter to put hands flat out, they on their head, not to move, and then to get on knees with hands raised in the air, then crawl on the ground. If you are trained this way they your entire way of training needs to be revamped. Why didn't you just keep him on the ground while another officer approached to place hand cuffs on him? With hands and feet interlaced, he posed almost no threat in that position. You put him in a precarious position, which directly led to you murdering him. I hope the family of the victim takes millions from your disgrace of a police department. This is coming from an EMT who has worked with police on a regular basis.
