Johnny Mac's is this Henderson "Hole In The Wall" that 100% lived up to its terrific rep tonight! When we arrived the place was packed, but everyone was friendly & we were seated before I knew it. One of the other patrons found out it was our first time @ JM's & suggested we try the "Henderson Special"....which is a large 1-topping pizza & 5lbs of wings! That was a bit much for the 2 of us...but I was happy to discover they had a "small version". We still had 6 pcs of delish pizza & 20 wings to share! Another friend of mine recommended we get our wings "double baked". Sooo good! The sauce & mozzarella on our pizza was incredible. & the bbq & med wing sauce was baked into the wings. So they were completely coated but not soggy. Celery was cold & crisp too, just the way it should be. Service was great. Never ran out of drinks. The wait staff all worked well together & were very attentive. This place looks a lil like a time warp. Neighborhood hangouts the way they used to be. And I mean that as a good thing! :) My son got a kick out of the jerseys & old pics. Our booth was right under this huge buffalo! We will DEFINITELY be back!
