I took my son (6 yrs old) here on the advice of our pediatrician. The office and staff were nice with the exception of the receptionist. She was rude and talked to me like I was a child when discussing our health plan. She refused to offer any assistance with finding out what our benefits were and told me I would have to call myself. Upon checkout however the lady we dealt with said she would take of all insurance matters and was as pleasant as can be.
On to Dr. Rovit. The doctor entered the exam room, didn't say hello or introduce himself to either my son or me. Did not make my son feel at ease and acted like an arrogant jerk. Not one smile or pleasantry. In my opinion, if you are going to hold yourself out to be a child specialist you should at least be friendly. I will not return to Dr. Rovit.
