Got a good deal on Priceline ($97/week for an economy car). The car seemed like it was on it's last leg. I RARELY see rental cars with more than 20,000 miles on it. Heck, they usually sell them at 15-16k miles. However, this car was over 20k miles, looks like it had taken a beating a few times, and the engine would skip a few times before starting. WTF? Everytime I turned it on, I prayed that it would start. One of the biggest turn offs was probably the lady helping me at the counter. Why is it when I decline insurance (I have State Farm, I'm covered for rentals. Thanks.), their whole attitude changes and they get very rude and pissy? And then even more so when I decline your "cheaper" gas. Why am I going to pay for a FULL tank of gas, when I only used HALF A TANK on my trip? It took me less than $25 to refill the tank before returning it to Advantage. I think the employees need to check their attitude.
