The first time I came to Ariadne, I had my hair foil highlighted and it turned out great! I believe the name of the man who did it was Eli. So, about 2 months later I decided to go back for a "new year's" hair change. I went in to make an appointment, but they said they had time to do it for me right then, but Eli wasn't in that day.. (I should've waited and made an appointment with him). I told the woman who was going to mix my haircolor that I wanted a mahogany/dark red color, and I even showed her the color in the "hair color book". She said that since I had blonde in my hair, the color would turn out pink ??? So to avoid that, she would add brown to the color. I foolishly agreed to the change since she guaranteed that the color would wash out to the color that I really wanted after a few shampoos. After the hair dyeing was complete, my hair practically looked dark brown and I told her I was unhappy with the coloring. She once again reassured me that the color would wash out to what I really wanted. Unfortunately, it's been 2 weeks since then and my hair still looks as dark as ever. You can't even see that it was meant to be red. Needless to say, I'm very upset with her for both ruining my original blonde highlights and ruining the color that I really wanted. If I could remember her name, I would tell you (she has long brown hair that is usually dyed red). But either way, if you're planning on heading here for some highlights/full head color: ask for Eli.
