One word, AMAZING! Christine W. and I were meeting up for dinner and decided on Lola's after reading the reviews. We made a reservation just to be on the safe side but when we walked in the place was virtually empty, we were seated in a matter of seconds so that was great. Items Ordered: Gumbo ($4.79) Bronzed Shrimp and Grits ($16.99) Bananas Foster ($7.99) I started off with a cup of gumbo, it was very thick, hearty, and flavorful with a good amount of chicken, sausage, and shrimp. After finishing the gumbo I moved on to the shrimp and grits,it is definitely a must try, I really enjoyed it. I'm not a huge fan of grits but they really do know how to make them right here, they tasted like gritty mashed potatoes with cheese. We ended our meals with the bananas foster which was good but too bitter for my liking. I can't wait for my next visit to Lola's. The food was great, the staff was very courteous, and our waitress was attentive and helpful. I think Lola's is as good as it gets in Las Vegas for cajun/creole food.
