Truly, one of the worst meals I've had in a long time.
Did the Prix Fixe through the Groupon which may appear like a good deal but was not worth even worth half the price paid.
First course was a very lukewarm chorizo and scallop in a chimichurri sauce. Flavours did not go well together.
For my main I ordered the tenderloin medium rare. First time it came out, it was completely overdone. Waiter said the next one would be out in two minutes. Ten minutes later I was served a completely rare steak. The third try was acceptable... barely. More on the medium side than medium rare but after taking a few bites of the completely raw steak I was not really in the mood to eat. Even the waiters recognized the incompetence of the "chef" so I am assuming they have been through the rigamarole before.
Sides and dessert were also barely passable.
Really an awful experience. Only positives were the service was friendly and responsive and it was nice and quiet unlike so many newer establishments in Toronto!
