My husband and I could not wait to dine at Scarpetta in Las Vegas after having a perfect evening at the Scarpetta Miami months prior. Unfortunately the service at this location is so disappointing. Our greeting was frazzled and rushed, our seat was lovely looking at the fountains nice and private. Our server from first greeting had an awful attitude-rather snotty really and never shared his name. Our food was absolutely perfect but our overall experience was ruined by lack of service here. I specifically said I would like wine with my dinner as my last experience in Miami was heightened by the perfectly selected glass of wine by the charming sommelier. Here our glasses were left empty our entire meal! My husband had finished his cocktail before the appetizer! When dinner arrived we were over half finished before our server asked if everything was fine. Clearly this was disappointing which then caused us to decide to not have another drink nor coffee and dessert as we had hoped. When we asked for the check the server asked if there was something wrong which was frustrating and we chose to not bother as it seemed that could be confrontational. Again, our food was perfect it was just a completely different feel than expected-one I would not want to repeat.
