We just tried the new BLT steak at the JW Marriott Camelback Inn last night. It was their third day of service. Despite that, we were treated to excellent service, great food, and awesome experience. First of all, the resort is newly renovated and it looks incredible, like a lodge in the desert with views of Camelback mountain from the patio. The dining room is open and airy - not as trendy as Bourbon steak. Our server was fantastic and when he found out the wife loves roasted garlic and bone marrow, he added extra to our meal and another marrow to go! The Cote de Bouf for two entree ($86) was perhaps the best steak I've ever had - with bone marrow and bacon and mushroom ragout on top. Sides were good as well as the salads. Prices were high but I thought worth every penny. Welcome, my new favorite steakhouse in town! (at least until the new one opens at the Phoenecian)
