Stratosphere has been around for a while now and has been in a few Hollywood Movies. It's been owned by different corporations and has been renovated a few times. They've been able to reinvent themselves and attract tourists and locals. The hotel itself is decent. The rooms are clean and reasonably priced if not comped. The pool is on the rooftop, small but ample. There's a tower with addition extreme rides available for thrill seekers. The casino is huge and has tons of slots and tables. The players reward program is very competitive. They provide free meals and rooms based on play. I've been here when the place was new and have it go through the most recent Vegas Recession. What's nice about the property is they don't charge for parking! If you're looking for a fun place to stay and play, this place deserves a shot. I suggest having dinner at the Top of The World to enjoy the view... The food is decent and definitely overpriced but the view is priceless.
