I only had a hair consultation, but I was unhappy with the customer service/communication. I don't live close to the salon, so I wanted to get an estimated range (am on a budget) over the phone before commuting for half an hour just for a hair consultation. Gave them the accurate length of my hair and was told around $150-220 for bayalage/ombre highlights, which sounded good. However, when I came in for the hair consultation, they measured my hair and told me $220 for colouring but also another $160 JUST for toning the hair. When I've had my hair toned before, it was always either included in the quote or maybe $20-30 more, but beyond that, they DEFINITELY should have mentioned this on the phone so I didn't have to waste time commuting over.
