I love the Sharp Edge Beer Emporium in East Liberty. 5 stars love (http://www.yelp.com/biz/sharp-edge-beer-emporium-pittsburgh#hrid:rFwIC0yI1qfXtxsYpcY-vg). Started my huge craft beer obsession love. Go to damn near every time I'm back in Pittsburgh love. This location, however, had awful service. High prices (maybe the Emporium's prices have gone up too). Slow food delivery. I went on a Saturday afternoon. There was one other guy at the bar. Seconds after sitting down, the bartender asked what I'd like to drink - I hadn't even glanced at the menu yet, so I said I'd need a minute. I didn't see her for another ten. When we ordered, it took a half hour to get our burgers - slow if it were busy, but the place was dead! On prices, food seemed appropriately priced. Beers, however, were atrociously priced. I'm not expecting $4 pints of Belgian Beer. I've drank at some of the best beer bars in the some of the most expensive cities in the country - in San Francisco and New York - and the beer prices at Sharp Edge Sewickley were higher. I was super disappointed. I couldn't wait to check off another Sharp Edge location when I knew I'd be in the neighborhood. But it missed the mark.
