In a word: disappointing. In two words: very disappointing. Food: average. Typical BRIO (one step up from Olive Garden). Service: bad. Really bad. UNFORGETTABLY bad. When in college I worked as a waiter. I well know how hard the job can be. And I give food servers every "break" I can. But ours was just plain BAD! Yet, I sense, it was not entirely his fault. He was not well trained. I dislike Yelp reviews that drone on about every detail of one's unpleasant experience. So I won't. But, in summary: waiter had no knowledge of the wine list, did ask if we wanted our salads before or with entrée (we chose before) but forgot all about bringing them and, finally (without asking) cleared the table of bread, butter, and my dining companion's plate long before I was finished eating. (He asked if I wanted my "leftovers" to go while I was still chewing my last mouthful!) I chose to dine at BRIO specifically because I love their chopped salad. Oh, how I wish I had had the opportunity to enjoy one.
