Awesome!! I have to admit I go to Smith's more frequently in usually come to Albertson's when I'm looking for something special. Today the sale on prime rib bone in drew me in. As it turned out I opted for the New York strip. This came in a very large package and was right to basically give it away. The meet was choice which is one step away from prime.
The butcher met me at the counter because I had questions and he had to show me where the sale items were. He guided me through a better purchase. This all is in the four star range.
What pushed the rating to a five was that the offer to cut my super sale priced side of New York strip into any size I want. I chose to have 3/4 cut into steak portions with the remaining cut a separate roast size hunk and - keep the sale price.
Leo's service was above and beyond the call of duty!! Yes I chose to have my steaks cut extra thick. I was actually leaving here to go to Smith's to purchase the New York strip on sale. Albertson's blew them away this time. They may have converted me.
