It would be understandable if you were to drive past this restaurant, as the exterior is as unassuming as a suburban urology practice. However, unlike a trip to the urologist, coming here is a lot of fun. In my opinion, the food is B-plus level, but it earns 4 stars for ambiance and service. My wife and I enjoyed the classic Cajun dishes we ordered, etuffe and jambalaya. The dining area is classy without being stuffy, and the jazz band was good, yet quiet enough for conversation. This is an extremely versatile restaurant; it is appropriate for a first date, a dinner with your spouse or entire family, or taking one's Mother out for her birthday. Clearly, contemporary Wisconsin offers more than just cheese curds, and establishments like this one go a long way towards proving that.
