We went on a busy Sunday afternoon for an hour, and had such an awesome time that we tried to extend our stay!
We had tried VR with the cardboard Google glasses before but were curious about having the "real" experience. We were totally blown away! We tried several different games, but spent most of our time in Google Earth flying around the world. It was an extremely surreal, amazing experience.
There were all kinds of people there, kids, adults, guys, girls, it was a neat mix -- and they had all kinds of games and sim experiences, something for everyone. Great selection.
As the reviewer below noted, yes, it was noisy when we first walked in (someone was screaming "OH MY GOD THERE ARE BEES EVERYWHERE!" lol) but once you're hooked up and in your own booth, you can't hear anything but your own game and whoever you're playing with -- and staff members who check in on you.
The equipment was clean, the headset was comfortable, and the paddles were easy to use.
The staff are beyond! I felt like I was a bit of a high-maintenance customer at times, but everyone was so cool. They were very knowledgeable, and were really working hard to make sure everyone was okay. I was impressed. They were friendly and patient and didn't rush us even though they were obviously very busy on a fully booked Sunday. They made sure we understood how to work the gear, and helped us get into different games quickly and easily.
