I have racked up over 2 million miles with Delta over the last 15 years- diamond medallion for last ten. The one and only time I use a different airline- in over 2000 flights- I use American Airlines for a more convenient flight time- I get stranded over night in Charlotte because of a 45 minute delay in Philadelphia due to a late arriving crew member who came to the gate eating a slice of pizza- and another 20 minutes waiting for a plane to vacate gate c12 so we could park- ! A more convenient flight time has turned into a loss of 24 hours - my time is money! Not to mention the pulmonary edema you put me into forcing me to run from gate c12 to b3 only to see the agent closing the door greeting me with the words "should have got here earlier- flight is closed"! Never again!- sorry AA- you blew it!
