I wanted Pawn Donuts, but was overruled by my daughter and hubby, so off to Ace we went. I had never had a donut from Ace, but in a meeting my husband had and thought they were good.
Arrived around noon on Sunday, and was greeted by a cute lady in pink-black zebra striped apron.
We ordered a melange; glazed donut, chocolate raised, apple fritter, buttermilk old fashioned, sprinkled. We just kind of sampled and noshed. I thought they were good. Very sweet icing on the sprinkles, a hint of lemon in the icing. The chocolate raised was good. Buttermilk old fashioned was great. My daughter said it was the best glazed she'd had in awhile.
I think I'm still partial to Pawn, but Ace is quite good, too.
