Surprising Irish bar in Scottsdale AZ- largest Seahawks bar in AZ (go figure). I had the Butcher's block: a pair of grilled lamb chops, braised pork belly, Irish Banger, black pudding (aka blutwurst, blood sausage, morcilla), skewered and grilled veggies, and mint dipping sauce. Sounds heavier that what it really is- Irish light meal. Everything, especially the lamb chops, was excellent. After eating, you do not get that semi-comatose feeling from eating a heavy meal. The bar itself is charming and has personality- even though it is a Seattle Seahawks bar. The staff is very friendly and know their stuff. Next time I am in the area I will try their version of Beef Wellington and the half dozen other dishes on their menu that sounded positively worth trying. This is no ordinary sports bar.
