I hate to write this but since I rely on reviews, here it is. I've been searching for a stylist for over a year since moving to Scottsdale. I decided to try Choppers. Called for my first appointment and was told "everyone was good" when the stylist I requested was booked longer than I wanted to wait. I made an appointment with Annette. She was really sweet and I enjoyed talking with her. She colored my hair a pretty shade of red but completely damaged it in the process. To be fair, there was some damage that needed to be cut off but the ends of my hair now feel like fuzz. It's disgusting! The cut is also uneven with a section in the back that seems to have been missed altogether. She even grabbed her scissors to fix one longer side as I was paying to leave. I couldn't bring myself to tell her how horrible it was because she is such a sweet person. I also still tipped her nicely because I'm a really nice idiot. I've never had to go home and wet my hair to restyle but this time I did. $160 to pretty much wear a pony tail every day. I'll keep searching :(
