Pros:
The waitress and hostess were friendly/polite.
Salmon tasted fantastic, well above sports bar standards.
Cons:
Very slow service.
Salmon BLT was the special, stale bread, and salmon had 3 bones which is a pretty big no-no if you're serving it on a sandwich. Ate just the sandwich innards with a knife and fork.
I got a side of mac and cheese and it was terrible. Bland with a ton of pepper. Pretty much all I could taste was the pepper. I ended up sending it back which I've only done once before at a restaurant. I would expect a sportsbar could muster up a decent mac n cheese, even if it was ready-made from Sysco. It's just elbow noodles and cheese, I have no idea how anybody could make Mac 'n' Cheese that bad.
The waitress was very polite and asked if she could get me something else so I ordered the broccoli. It took a really long time to come. It also took a long time for her to bring the check and take my card, I had to flag down another server to pay my bill.
My drink was never refilled, but they use opaque souvenir cups for drinks which doesn't make a whole lot of sense since the waitress can't really see if your drink needs to be refilled without getting right up next to you each time.
I tipped 2 dollars on a bill of 10.77 which felt about right, I really could have used a refill and the service after I received my entree was unacceptably long.
I'll probably come here again but my expectations are a lot lower.
