Be sure to check expiration dates! On two separate occasions, I found 13 lb bags of Purina Naturals Cat Food with an April 2017 expiration date. The bags were outdated by months! The first time, I pulled the expired product from the shelf, placed it on the floor and alerted the cashier and service desk when I checked out assuming someone would promptly resolve the issue. Fast forward 4-6 weeks . . . I go to purchase another 13 lb bag of Purina Naturals Dry Cat food only to find bags with an April 2017 expiration date again! Upon checking out I again brought the expired pet food to the cashier's attention and was told by a snappy, condescending cashier that it is not her problem and I should speak with management. I brought the matter to the attention of an assistant manager at the service desk (and followed up by contacting HT corporate). I don't know if the problem with outdated pet food has been resolved - - I would hope - - but, after finding outdated pet food on two separate occasions, I now purchase my pet food elsewhere and double check expiration dates on anything else I purchase. I continue to shop HT for specials, but that's about all. They lost my loyalty when the cashier told me expired food on the shelves was not her problem. CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATES, folks!
