I use to get Mitchell's at least once or twice a month before they changed their menu. It was my resident regular ol' ice cream shop. Well, they've since changed and I don't like it one bit. I think they're trying to become another Columbus-based Ohio ice cream shop (which I've been eating for 3 years). Anyway, the new flavors are just okay to me. I can't stop comparing them to that other ice cream shop and with that being said they don't come close. I'm all for going local, organic, etc...but it would have been nice to upgrade the products without screwing around with the flavor profiles especially if they're "forgettable". I've tried the new Banana cream pie-blah! The new butter pecan-blah, the salty caramel-no depth!, Christmas Ale one-yuck! Pumpkin spice-decent! I'm just not a fan anymore.
