My uncle told me to try this place as my first outing in Pittsburgh, I'm glad I listened to him. The atmosphere of Shilohs is very great, it is a comfortable place for anyone to go to, they have vegetarian meals and a large option of food, the menu is absolutely hilarious, as are the servers, my waitor was hysterical and this was the best waiting service I have ever received at any restaurant, Shilohs is very clean and has both upstairs and downstairs seating, a very nice bar, and very polite staff, also if you love bacon, you'll love Shilohs, also if you'd like to eat outside there is a beautiful deck to sit on. While you wait to beat seated you can walk about 100 ft down the street to an Outlook that overlooks the entire city of Pittsburgh up on Mt. Washington, you may also take a cable car down to the city, overall just an awesome experience and I would very much recommend it to anyone visiting Pittsburgh.
